Improving the effectiveness of state management of beliefs and religions.

Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - chaired the meeting. Also attending were representatives from the leadership of various departments and agencies.

In 2025, all levels and sectors did a good job advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue many documents leading and directing the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on religious affairs; promptly addressing legitimate needs, resolving difficulties and obstacles, and effectively handling complex cases in religious affairs.

The dissemination and popularization of laws have been given attention by all levels and sectors through various rich and diverse methods and forms. At the same time, close and synchronized coordination has been maintained in the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion. Training of officials and civil servants working in the field of belief and religion has been prioritized from the provincial to the commune level.

Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An highly appreciated the state management work on beliefs and religions in the province by all levels, sectors, and localities in 2025.

At the same time, it should be noted that in 2026, provincial departments and agencies, and the People's Committees of communes and wards will implement tasks according to their functions, focusing on continuing to review and advise on amending and supplementing legal documents in leadership and direction in the field of belief and religion, in accordance with the local government at both levels. They will also implement a comprehensive and diverse range of methods for disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on belief and religion.

At the same time, it is important to do a good job of engaging with and closely caring for religious leaders, officials, and followers to address their legitimate needs and aspirations. Strengthen the organization of meetings and dialogues to resolve difficulties, obstacles, and emerging issues related to religion.

Pay attention to directing, guiding, and urging the timely resolution of legitimate needs of religious organizations in accordance with the law. Continue to focus on planning work, and the implementation of socio-economic development programs and projects by religious organizations. Pay attention to assigning capable, responsible, and experienced officials to advise on religious affairs, while also planning to improve their professional skills and legal knowledge in the field of religion.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An also requested the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to continue to refine and advise on the promulgation of mechanisms, policies, and resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on support policies for officials, civil servants, and workers working in religious affairs in Nghe An province.

The Provincial People's Committee's advisory body will decentralize and resolve administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion, review plans to simplify and reduce administrative procedures in this field, and coordinate with the Department of Internal Affairs to advise on further strengthening the organizational structure and staff of civil servants working in state management of belief and religion at all levels in the province.

At the conference, 3 collectives and 5 individuals were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in state management of beliefs and religions in the province in 2025.
