Improving the quality of the "Learning about the history of the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos" competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - Successfully implementing the "Understanding the History of the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos" contest will contribute to helping all segments of the population, especially young people, understand correctly and deeply the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

This was the directive given by the Provincial Organizing Committee of the "Understanding the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos" competition on the afternoon of August 4th.

The "Understanding the History of the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos" contest is identified as an important and practical activity in response to the "Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2017," celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos (September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2017); and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos (July 18, 1962 - July 18, 2017).

At the meeting, members of the provincial competition organizing committee discussed measures to achieve the competition's goals and requirements, with a focus on effectively promoting and educating about revolutionary traditions.

The competition is an opportunity to raise awareness among officials, Party members, and all segments of the population, especially the younger generation in the province, about the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and Laos and Vietnam, in the process of fighting against common enemies, liberating the nation, and building a developed and integrated country; further enhancing the friendship and loyalty of the two nations, Vietnam and Laos.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Tran Quoc Khanh requested that media agencies intensify their publicity for the "Understanding the History of the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos" competition, ensuring that the competition not only meets the quantitative requirements but also maintains high quality, conveying one of the 12 suggested themes from the Organizing Committee, making the competition practical, far-reaching, and effective.
