Improving the quality of the contest 'Learning about the history of special relations between Vietnam and Laos'

(Baonghean.vn) - Carry out the contest "Learning about the history of the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos" well to contribute to making people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, understand correctly and deeply the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

That was the directive of the Provincial Organizing Committee of the contest "Learning about the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos" on the afternoon of August 4.

The contest “Learning the History of the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos” is identified as an important and practical activity in response to the “Vietnam – Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017”, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962 – September 5, 2017); 40 years of signing the Vietnam – Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1962 – July 18, 2017).

At the meeting, members of the provincial competition organizing committee discussed measures to achieve the goals and requirements of the competition, focusing on effectively propagating and educating revolutionary traditions.

The contest is an opportunity to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation in the province, about the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, Laos and Vietnam in the process of fighting against common enemies, liberating the nation and building a developed and integrated country; further enhancing the friendship and loyalty of the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Tran Quoc Khanh requested press agencies to promote the contest "Learning about the history of the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos" so that the contest not only meets the quantity requirements, but also ensures good quality, conveys one of the 12 topics suggested by the contest's Organizing Committee, making the contest meaningful, profound and effective.
