NATO not ready for war of attrition with Russia?
NATO is not ready for a war of attrition with Russia due to the limited capabilities of its military-industrial complex.

According to RIA Novosti, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny said that NATO is not ready for a “war of attrition” with Russia, because the missile and drone arsenals of the alliance countries cannot be compared with the capabilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
“Question: which NATO country is ready to repel an attack of 2,000 targets today? I cannot tell you how many missiles Ukraine received, but believe me: there is no so-called balance with the number of missiles and drones of the Russian Armed Forces. And this trend will increase in the face of Russian attacks. This month, this number will reach 3,000,” said the former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Zaluzhny in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.
Mr. Zaluzhny also stressed that the “means of struggle” provided to Ukraine are still “too expensive” and too limited in quantity. At the same time, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed the view that for similar reasons, “neither Britain nor other countries will be ready” for a potential confrontation with Russia.
Mr Zaluzhny said that NATO air defence systems could be completely disabled in just two to three months. He wondered whether Britain itself had at least 5,000 Patriot missiles to repel attacks using “guided bombs”.
“I suspect something. Again, one reason is that they are very expensive and as a result, they cannot be given much aid, because their production is a problem. So we can only say from a military point of view that perhaps NATO countries are not ready,” the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK said.
