New developments regarding the 34 provincial and city chairmen after Hanoi's personnel restructuring.
Among the 34 current chairpersons of provincial and city People's Committees, two are members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, and many hold doctoral or master's degrees.
The Politburo has just decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee.
Shortly thereafter, at the 28th session of the 16th Hanoi City People's Council, term 2021-2026, the delegates elected Mr. Vu Dai Thang as Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
