(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has proposed the task of disseminating information and raising public awareness to prevent people from being incited, enticed, or lured into participating in illegal activities that disrupt public order.

On the morning of May 19th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held its regular monthly briefing conference for May 2017. The conference was chaired by Comrade Kha Van Tam, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee. Attendees included speakers from the Provincial Party Committee, the Propaganda Departments of subordinate Party Committees, the Fatherland Front and other provincial-level organizations, district and city Party Committees, and the Political Training Center.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department provided information on the following topics: the results of the 5th Central Committee Conference (12th term); the fight against opportunistic elements and hostile forces on the Internet and social media in Vietnam and state management work; religious affairs and the activities of elements exploiting beliefs and religions in recent times, forecasting the situation and raising issues for state management of religion in the coming period; and current domestic and international affairs.

Regarding the results of the Fifth Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department stated that the Central Committee issued three thematic resolutions on the economy: "Improving the socialist-oriented market economy institutions"; "Continuing to restructure, innovate, and improve the efficiency of state-owned enterprises"; and "Developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy." These are crucial issues, especially important for fulfilling the key tasks set forth by the 12th National Congress on socio-economic development.

The fifth conference wasReviewing the leadership and guidance of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2016, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution IV of the 12th Central Committee on Party building and the disciplinary action against cadres, contributed to consolidating and strengthening the confidence of cadres, Party members, and the people in the success of the cause of Party building and rectification.

Concluding the conference and outlining the propaganda direction for June 2017, Comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - requested that speakers focus on strongly promoting and condemning serious violations of the law. He also urged continued efforts to unite religious and secular communities, gaining the support of religious leaders, officials, and parishioners to always "live a good life and uphold moral values."

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department noted that speakers should focus on disseminating information about the Party and State's high-level foreign affairs activities, and current events both domestically and internationally. In particular, they should highlight the upcoming APEC conference in Vietnam.

One of the important directions set by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department is: Continuing to study the thematic content of Directive 05 on the core contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought, ethics, and style.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requests that localities organize the dissemination and implementation of Plan 57 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the implementation of Directive 17-CT/TW dated October 15, 2017, of the Central Party Secretariat (10th term) on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work in the new situation.
