Russia imposes sanctions on 200 US citizens.

On November 11, the Russian Foreign Ministry added 200 more American citizens to its sanctions list, banning them from entering the Russian Federation indefinitely.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, in retaliation for the ongoing sanctions imposed by the US administration on Russian officials, business representatives, cultural figures, and citizens, 200 US citizens have been added to the sanctions list.

The sanctions list includes representatives of the government and lawmakers, as well as their close associates, heads of companies and enterprises of the military-industrial complex, experts and lobbyists involved in promoting the "anti-Russian" campaign and supporting the Ukrainian government.

Notably, this sanctions list includes both the US Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture.

As of November 11th, Russia had imposed individual sanctions on more than 1,000 US citizens, including entry bans to Russia, among them top US officials such as the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of the Treasury.

Following Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the United States imposed very strong sanctions on both legal entities and individuals of the Russian Federation, prompting Russia to take retaliatory measures.
