At least 11 people were killed and many others injured in a car bomb attack on February 4 at a crowded market in the center of Somalia's capital Mogadishu.
The al-Shabab militant group, which is linked to the international terrorist network al-Qaeda, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Denmark deports two Huawei employees for violating labor and residence laws

Danish police said on February 4 that authorities had deported two employees of China's Huawei Technologies Co. after an inspection at the company's Copenhagen office found they were not complying with work permit and residence regulations.

The US Department of Defense said it will send about 3,750 troops to the US-Mexico border area for three months to increase support for border protection and customs agencies to ensure border security. With this decision, the number of soldiers supporting US border protection and customs agencies will increase to approximately 4,350 people.
Since mid-October last year, caravans of migrants have begun their 4,300 km journey, departing from the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula to the Mexican city of Tijuana.
