Russia sells Su-35 technology to China
According to InterFax, Russia not only sells Su-35 fighters but also sells some technologies related to this 4++ generation fighter to China.
This information was revealed by Russian news agencies when talking about Moscow completing the contract when transferring the last 5 Su-35s out of a total of 24 Su-35 fighters to the Chinese Air Force under the contract signed in 2015.
A source from the Russian Defense Industry Union said that the contract was signed until 2020, but the Russian manufacturer completed the delivery ahead of schedule.
What is special about this deal is that Russia not only sells aircraft but may also sell maintenance and minor repair technology - replacement, training and education for Chinese pilots to transfer to new types of aircraft.

In 2015, after many tense negotiations, especially on quantity and copyright issues, Moscow and Beijing signed a contract to supply 24 4++ generation super-maneuverable fighters, with a total contract value of about 2.5 billion USD.
Before Russian news agencies revealed that Russia had transferred some Su-35 technology to China, Russian and Chinese media repeatedly reported that half of the 24 Su-35s sold by Russia to China would be manufactured under license in China.
However, until now, all details about this are unclear, but surprisingly, Russia has agreed to cooperate in developing this fighter engine with Beijing.
This information was announced by Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Yuri Slyusarev, according to which Russia decided to cooperate with China to develop a new jet engine on the basis of "product 117C".
Along with supplying Su-35 aircraft, Russia also wants to negotiate further with China regarding the technical issues of the contract. It is known that Russia and China have been negotiating this procurement contract since the end of 2012 and the negotiation process in recent years has always encountered a deadlock.
According to Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS), the contract's impasse is China's request to change the Su-35's technical parameters before delivery. Meanwhile, Russia has no intention of making any major changes from the appearance to the technical specifications of the export version of the Su-35.
Meanwhile, in mid-2014, Itar-Tass quoted a Russian military source as saying that the reason the negotiation process took so long was because Russia had not yet equipped its air force with enough of this advanced aircraft and there were some problems with the price.
The Su-35 fighter is a Russian super-maneuverable fighter, developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. This fighter has superior combat capabilities compared to fighters of the same generation and even 5th generation aircraft thanks to its super-maneuverable engine and state-of-the-art electronic systems.
