“The Russian side has carried out a series of actions aimed at destroying the Ukrainian intelligence network in the Crimea region,” the agency said, adding that the suspects involved in the terrorist attack included both Russian and Ukrainian citizens.

Moscow also warned Kiev that the deaths of two Russian soldiers would not be easily overlooked.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, any attempt to escalate the situation in Crimea will be completely eliminated, while affirming that regional stability and security will be ensured at all costs. The agency called on other countries to put pressure on Kiev and warned Ukraine against taking reckless actions against Russia.

“We call on countries to once again exert direct and serious pressure on the Kiev authorities and warn Ukraine against reckless actions that could lead to the worst consequences,” Moscow’s diplomats said, stressing the adage “Don’t play with fire.”
