Russia claims Ukraine manufactured fake Iskander missiles, filled with radioactive material, in order to shift blame.

The Kyiv regime has completed the technical preparations for a "dirty bomb" provocation: specialists from the Ukrainian enterprise "Yuzhmash" prepared a dummy missile, planned to be filled with radioactive material, and then supposedly shot down over the Chernobyl nuclear power plant area and blamed on it.Russian armed forcesnuclear launch, Sputnik sources said.

"Specialists from Yuzhmash built a dummy Iskander missile, the warhead of which was planned to be filled with radioactive material, and then 'shot down' by Ukrainian air defenses in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant," the source said.

He pointed out that the Iskander missile model was built on the basis of ammunition from the Tochka-U missile system.

"After the dummy is dropped, the Kyiv authorities plan to show Western and Ukrainian media the fragments of the model and electronic equipment inside the Iskander missile, supposedly to convince the Western public of Russia's guilt," the source said.

What is a dirty bomb?

According to reliable sources in various countries – including Ukraine – the Kyiv regime is preparing a provocative act on its territory involving the detonation of a "dirty bomb" – a low-yield nuclear weapon. The purpose of this provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction on the Ukrainian battlefield, and thereby launch a strong anti-Russian campaign worldwide. From various sources, it is known that, under the leadership of Western overseers, Kyiv has begun implementing the plan. The leadership of the Eastern Exploitation and Processing Plant, located in the city of Zheltye Vody, Dnepropetrovsk region, as well as the Kyiv Nuclear Research Institute, have been tasked with producing the "dirty bomb." This work is currently nearing completion.
