Russia is completing the development of several missile systems that are no less effective than the Avangard and Oreshnik missiles.

According to RIA Novosti on December 17, General Sergei Karakaev, commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, said that Russia is completing the development of a series of missile systems that are no less effective than Avangard and Oreshnik.
“Domestic intercontinental ballistic missiles equipped with new types of warheads are practically invulnerable. Today the whole world knows about them - this is the hypersonic unit of the Avangard complex and the hypersonic device of the Oreshnik complex,” General Karakaev said on the occasion of Strategic Missile Forces Day.
According to General Karakaev, at the final stage of development, a series of weapons are equally effective. Therefore, it is not the right time to talk about them in detail.
In addition, Russia plans to continue developing the existing scientific and technical base in the field of camouflage and reducing the visibility of missiles and warheads, changing the trajectory-ballistic capabilities of intercontinental ballistic missiles and their combat equipment. The creation of firepower means and information destruction, reconnaissance, control and attack functions of the missile defense system is being created, General Karakaev added.
In addition, General Karakaev said that the mobile group of the Strategic Missile Forces has been fully equipped with modern missile weapons, and priority plans for 2025 include the re-equipping of missile divisions where Topol-M is on combat duty with Yars missile systems.
The commander also said that the Strategic Missile Forces proposed in the state armament program to mainly develop platforms for the Sarmat and Osina complexes, as well as a number of new complexes.
