Russia conducts missile firing exercises off the Baltic coast.
As part of the exercise, combat units of the "Bal" and "Bastion" coastal missile systems will conduct missile launch drills against simulated enemy ship groups in the Baltic Sea.

This information was published by Interfax, citing Roman Martov, the official representative of the Baltic Fleet.
According to him, the servicemen will conduct drills on military equipment in firing zones according to scenarios. They will deploy "Bal" and "Bastion" missile systems, which are designed to combat enemy surface ships and protect the Kaliningrad coastline.
"From their positions, missile operators will receive target designations and conduct electronic launches with the 'Bal' and 'Bastion' missile systems against simulated enemy ships," Martov stated.
He added that as part of the exercise, the units would conduct tests on the operational capabilities of the missile systems. In addition, they would perform the loading and unloading of the missile systems.
