Russia conducts missile firing drills on the Baltic coast
Within the framework of the exercise, combat units of the coastal missile complexes "Bal" and "Bastion" will carry out missile launches at a group of hypothetical enemy ships in the Baltic Sea.

This information was published by Interfax citing Mr. Roman Martov, official representative of the Baltic Fleet.
According to him, the servicemen will conduct maneuvers on military equipment in the firing areas according to the scenario. The "Bal" and "Bastion" missile complexes, which are designed to fight against enemy surface ships and protect the coast of the Kaliningrad region, will be deployed.
"From the positions, missile soldiers will receive target designations and conduct electronic launches with the "Bal" and "Bastion" missile complexes at hypothetical enemy fleets," Martov said.
He added that within the framework of the exercise, the units will carry out tasks of testing the operational capabilities of missile systems. In addition, they will carry out the unloading and transportation of weapons, which are missile systems.
