Irina Tiourina, a spokeswoman for the Russian Tourism Federation, once again assured that Russian tourists currently staying in Egypt will not be forced to leave immediately and will return to Russia whenever they want. It is known that on November 6, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich made a similar announcement.
For its part, the Russian Labor Ministry called on employers not to punish employees on vacation in Egypt who fail to return to work on time due to travel difficulties.
A week has passed since the Sinai plane crash that killed 224 people, with many theories being put forward, notably the theory that a bomb exploded on the ill-fated Russian Airbus. Although Russia is still carefully considering the theories, the Moscow government has ordered the suspension of its civilian flights to Egypt since November 6.
