Russia reiterates the objectives of its military campaign in Ukraine.
(Baonghean.vn) - When asked about the objectives of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the goal remains the same: Moscow needs to continue "liberating" many areas in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions occupied by Kyiv.

Kremlin representatives affirmed that Russia has no plans to annex any new territories.
Furthermore, Peskov warned of the possibility of Ukrainian attacks on the Crimean Peninsula after Russian forces shot down a drone near the port city of Sevastopol, the largest city in Crimea and home to a key Russian naval base. However, the Kremlin representative asserted that Russian forces are taking effective retaliatory measures.
Also at the press conference, Peskov said that the proposal to establish a gas alliance including Uzbekistan was not involved in imposing "political terms" on the Central Asian country, and affirmed that "no one is talking about that."
