Russia opens tourism office in Vietnam to attract Southeast Asian tourists.
On the evening of April 14th, the Russian Tourism Agency inaugurated its Southeast Asia regional tourism office in Hanoi. This is the country's eighth overseas tourism office.
Accordingly, the Visit Russia Federal Tourism Office, located in Hanoi, will promote the development of Russian tourism in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and South Korea.
Sergey Kornevv, Deputy Director General of the Federal Tourism Agency of Russia, emphasized: "Our confidence in Vietnam stems from the close ties between the people of the two countries over the years." He added that, in addition to modern facilities and equipment to serve tourists, Russia also organizes a team of Vietnamese-speaking tour guides in Russia to ensure Vietnamese visitors receive the best possible care during their visit.

In addition to some key tourist destinations in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the office will provide information to Asian tourists, including those from Vietnam, on new destinations offering a variety of novel and diverse experiences.
“Visit Russia will be a reliable resource for tourism businesses and travelers to find information about destinations and diverse tourism products in Russia and other countries within the scope of our office. In addition, Visit Russia will also conduct a series of promotional activities and connect travel businesses between countries through tourism events,” shared Ms. Ta Bich Ha, Director of the Visit Russia Office for Southeast Asia.
At the VITM 2016 International Tourism Fair, Russia was also a special guest of Vietnam. Visiting the Russian booth, tourists not only received information about tourist destinations and services in Russia but also had the opportunity to receive many attractive offers.
