Russia does not conduct any propaganda against the European Union, said Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on November 24, commenting on the European Parliament's adoption of a recommendation to control Russian media outlets.

Đại diện chính thức Bộ Ngoại giao Nga Maria Zakharova cho biết, nước này
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Russia does not conduct any propaganda activities against the European Union.

"This document equates, and I want to emphasize, what appears to be a Kremlin propaganda war against the West using propaganda methods similar to those of the terrorist organization ISIS, which Russia strictly prohibits… We have stated many times, and I will reiterate this, that there is no anti-EU propaganda from Russia's side. If the EU has internal problems, the cause should not be sought in third-party propaganda but within itself," the diplomat stated at the press conference.

"Russia needs a united, stable EU, a predictable partner with whom we want to develop equal and mutually beneficial cooperation. We hope the European Union will come to the realization that the Russian Federation is not an enemy and does not wish anything bad for them," Zakharova said.
