Commenting on the statement of the candidate leading the first round of the Ukrainian presidential election, Vladimir Zelensky, about his intention to request the return of territory and a compensation from Russia, the Kremlin representative emphasized: "We are ready to explain to any Ukrainian citizen that Russia does not occupy any Ukrainian territory, and there is no discussion on this issue."
Mr. Peskov noted that the self-proclaimed republics in the southeastern region of Ukraine were "torn apart by the Ukrainian authorities", while mentioning the Crimean peninsula in this context was unacceptable because this topic was "completely finished".
