Russia attacks Ukrainian base in Odessa.
Russian armed forces attacked a Ukrainian air base in the Odessa region, causing a major explosion.

According to RIA Novosti on May 30, the Russian army launched an attack on an air base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Odessa region.
"The Odessa region was hit by three airstrikes at 7:51 p.m., 11:05 p.m., and midnight. One of the airstrikes targeted an air base; it was noisy and involved explosions," Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev underground forces, told RIA Novosti.
Lebedev also stated that the attack on the Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk region disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian armed forces toward Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov.
Mr. Lebedev noted that, according to preliminary data, the attack on the Ukrainian-controlled Zaporozhye region disrupted the enemy's rotation in the direction of Gulyai-Polye.
In response to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilian targets, the Russian military regularly carries out targeted attacks on military positions and sites of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, equipment, and mercenaries, as well as on infrastructure: energy facilities, defense industry, military command centers, and communications centers of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stressed that Russian troops did not attack civilian buildings or social institutions.
