According to TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian army attacked a new missile system production facility in the Odessa region.

According to the Russian leader, a few days ago, the Russian Armed Forces attacked a target about 82 kilometers from Odessa. "So what kind of facility is this? An agricultural facility, an aircraft hangar, an agricultural enterprise," Putin said.

The Russian President said that the Kiev authorities, together with foreign managers, wanted to organize the production and testing of new missile systems here. It was precisely this target that was attacked by the Russian Armed Forces.

"So is this a civilian facility or not? This is a civilian facility, but it is used for military purposes" – President Putin noted when answering journalists' questions on April 21.

In addition, President Putin said that Russia will analyze the experience of the recent Easter ceasefire. Mr. Putin affirmed that Moscow always has a positive attitude towards peace initiatives, and hopes that Kiev will do the same. Russia will also analyze proposals for a temporary halt to attacks on civilian targets and give feedback.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on the evening of April 18, the Russian Armed Forces conducted a group strike with high-precision weapons on land and sea, along with drones, on the testing site of the Ukrainian Sapsan tactical missile system and the Norwegian-made NASAMS air defense missile system protecting the site. According to the Ministry, the goal of the strike was achieved and all objects were destroyed.
