Russia establishes three new military groups.
In Russia, military groups named "Belgorod," "Kursk," and "Bryansk" will be formed, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced at a meeting of the Military-Security Coordination Council on Border Territories.
Representatives of the General Staff and commanders of the "Belgorod", "Kursk", and "Bryansk" groups are responsible for protecting citizens and territory from attacks by drones and other means.
Lieutenant General Yury Korsachev, Deputy Director of the National Defense Management Center, announced the resolution of six issues related to the request for the supply of quadruple-rotor UAVs, gasoline-powered generators, four-wheeled vehicles, night vision equipment and sights, as well as thermal cameras to the Belgorod region.
Yury Korsachev added that the Kursk region has been supplied with the requested number of quadruple-rotor drones, anti-UAV detection and anti-UAV weapons, portable electronic warfare equipment, small power stations, four-wheeled vehicles, and thermal protective suits.
It is understood that the acquisition of radio stations, radio jamming systems, and anti-UAV systems for the Bryansk region is under the control of a task force specializing in collecting, analyzing, and routing information at the National Center for Defense Management.
