Russia continues to carry out special military operations to achieve its goals.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 7 that Russia does not see any prerequisites for transitioning to a peaceful path in Ukraine, so the country will achieve its goals by continuing to carry out special military operations.
"There are no prerequisites for switching to a peaceful path in this situation. Therefore, Russia will fulfill its tasks and goals by continuing to carry out a special military operation," Dmitry Peskov said when asked whether China's peace proposals could change the situation.

In addition, Mr. Peskov said that China, as a major country, "cannot but have a voice on important issues on the global agenda." "We pay close attention to the proposals put forward by our partners in Beijing," the Kremlin spokesman affirmed.
Asked how important this issue would be at the upcoming talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Peskov said the two countries maintain contact at various levels and the two leaders "have had trustworthy dialogues"./.
