Russia declares its readiness to negotiate with Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that Moscow's position on negotiating with Ukraine remains unchanged.
This assessment comes after a German official recently stated that Moscow is not ready to negotiate with Kyiv.
"We are keeping the door open for negotiations. We have never rejected them. We are ready to negotiate, of course based on realistic calculations at the present time," Zakharova stated at a press conference on November 9.

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also accused the German government of failing to use its influence with Ukraine to seek a peaceful solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
"Instead of influencing the Kiev authorities, Germany has acted contrary to its own laws and regulations prohibiting the export of lethal weapons to crisis areas and areas of armed conflict, while continuing to supply weapons to Kiev and encouraging them to continue hostilities at all costs," Zakharova said.
Moscow's reaction came after German government deputy spokeswoman Christiane Hoffmann said Berlin perceived Russia's lack of willingness to negotiate.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on countries around the world to "force Russia to participate in a genuine peace negotiation process" and outlined conditions for resuming talks, including the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and compensation for losses caused by the conflict.
Last week, several media outlets reported that,The US discreetly made a request to Ukraine. This demonstrates a willingness to negotiate with Russia. However, according to the Washington Post, this does not mean that the two sides will reach any actual negotiations, but rather merely alleviates concerns of countries affected by inflation and rising energy prices due to the conflict in Ukraine.
