The North Canal, once a beautiful waterway, plays a crucial role in drainage and air regulation for Vinh city. For many years, however, the North Canal has been severely polluted, affecting its aesthetics and the living environment of thousands of households. In response to this situation, a plan to completely underground the North Canal has been proposed. This is considered a fundamental solution to thoroughly address the pollution problem while simultaneously expanding urban development space.
