Admire the vibrant cherry blossom season in the highlands of Nghe An.

These days, cherry blossoms in Muong Tip commune (Ky Son district), a border area, are beginning to bloom. Clusters of pale pink blossoms burst forth amidst the cold weather, brightening up a corner of the village in western Nghe An province.

Since 2023, many people have started bringing cherry blossom saplings to plant in front of their houses as ornamental plants. Currently, many areas in Ky Son district, such as Tay Son, Muong Long, Na Ngoi, Nam Can, etc., have planted cherry blossom trees to attract tourists. Photo: Dao Tho

According to the Ky Son district authorities, thousands of cherry trees were planted in Ky Son during the 2024 spring tree-planting campaign, and the number will continue to expand in the future.
