According to the investigation results, Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan directly managed ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited and ZuBu Shop business. All production, business, and financial activities were directed and benefited from by Ngan.

Since 2021, Ngan has collaborated with several factories in Hanoi to outsource the manufacturing of health food products (for weight loss) under the brands Super Detox X3, X7, X1000... These products have legal circulation licenses.

However, Ngan exploited the "free gift" scheme to sell another unlicensed product called "Collagen vegetable tablets".

In reality, the "Collagen vegetable tablets" had no published quality records, were not licensed for sale, but Ngan packaged them, affixed labels with the X3 - X7 - X1000 brand names, and advertised them as "a supplement to enhance weight loss effectiveness."

Each of the above product sets costs between 870,000 VND and 1,100,000 VND, and is advertised to help users lose 4–15 kg.

According to the results of inspections by the authorities, the product samples sold by ZuBu did not meet quality standards and were determined to be counterfeit. In particular, some samples of "Collagen vegetable tablets" contained a substance banned by the Ministry of Health.

The investigation revealed that the counterfeit goods trade was sophisticated and systematic. Specifically, Ngan employed staff to provide online consultations and advertising, receive orders, and deliver goods nationwide. Revenue from 2023 to 2024 is estimated to reach hundreds of billions of VND.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency is expanding its investigation to clarify the roles of individuals involved in order to strictly handle the case according to regulations.
