Transport industry pays tribute to heroic martyrs
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 25, officials of Nghe An's transport sector from different periods came to offer incense at the Le Canal Memorial, Road 7 Martyrs' Cemetery, and Truong Bon National Historical Site.

During the resistance wars to save the country, 458 heroes and martyrs of the Nghe An Transport sector fell to protect the smooth roads. The sacrifices of heroes and martyrs of the transport sector have contributed to writing a brilliant golden page of history for the Vietnamese people and the transport sector.
Towards the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017), the delegation of Nghe An Transport Industry led by Mr. Nguyen Huu An - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport organized a flower offering ceremony to commemorate the heroes and martyrs of the industry. |
The delegation went to the Le Dynasty Canal Memorial (in Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district) to offer incense and flowers to commemorate the great contributions of King Le and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting foreign invaders, and to pay tribute to the cadres and workers of the transport sector who sacrificed their lives on the Le Dynasty Canal waterway during the resistance war against the US to save the country.

Next, the delegation offered incense at the Road 7 - Truong Ke Martyrs' Cemetery, My Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District and reviewed the heroic tradition of the nation, commemorating the heroic martyrs and heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force who heroically sacrificed to protect the smoothness of the route during the war against America.

At Truong Bon National Historical Site (Do Luong District) - a place that has become a "Legend" in the great national defense struggle of our people in the 20th century, members of the delegation respectfully offered incense sticks to commemorate those who devoted their youth to the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country.
For the transport sector, each of the above locations is associated with the sacrifice of youth, sweat and blood of generations to carry out the task of protecting the country, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic "blood vessels" throughout the two resistance wars.

Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, the cadres, workers and civil servants of the Nghe An transport sector expressed their respect, admiration and deep gratitude, forever remembering the merits and sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs. The dedication and sacrifice of the heroic martyrs will forever be a shining example for today's and future generations to learn and follow.
