Throughout the 95-year journey of building and developing the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the work of Party organization and building has always held a key position, serving as the foundation for consolidating political strength, ensuring the comprehensive leadership of the Party in all stages of the revolution, and contributing to promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the province.
From its very inception, the Party has paid attention to organizational work, considering it a crucial task that determines the Party's strength. On October 14, 1930, the Central Committee decided to establish various Ministries, including the Ministry of Organization and Transportation (the predecessor of the Central Organization Department today). On February 2, 2002, the Secretariat of the Central Committee (9th term) unanimously agreed to designate October 14th as the traditional day of the Party's organizational work and the organizational agencies of Party committees at all levels.

For the past 95 years, the Party Organization and Construction sector in Nghe An province has closely followed political tasks, proactively and actively carried out its duties, and advised Party committees on building Party organizations suitable for each period and stage of the revolution. It has built a team of Party members, selecting cadres and Party members who are loyal to the Party, possess political acumen, have the qualities and capabilities, and enjoy the trust of the people to entrust with responsibilities. Each historical period of the province bears the mark of the silent contributions of those working in organizational work – those who are likened to the "architects" of the Party in building the political foundation and establishing a long-term development vision.
Throughout this journey, the Party Organization and Construction sector of the province has not only preserved traditions but also fostered its unique identity: cautious yet resolute, principled yet flexible. It is this quality that has helped the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee maintain its position as a large, traditionally-rich Party organization in Party building work.
Over the past period, the Party Organization and Construction sector in Nghe An province has advised on and implemented many complex tasks: restructuring the organizational apparatus, streamlining personnel, building a two-tiered government, reforming cadre evaluation, and tightening Party member discipline. The clearly defined goal is to build a truly clean and strong provincial Party committee; and a cadre team that meets the requirements of the province's development in the new era.
The task of enhancing the governing capacity of the Provincial Party Committee cannot begin solely with resolutions, but must start with rectifying and consolidating the organization and tightening discipline within the political system at all levels. For Nghe An – a large Party Committee with many members, a vast area, and diverse demographic characteristics – the work of Party building and organization not only requires a rational organizational model but also must ensure unity of political will and maintain effective operation right from the grassroots level.
During the 2020-2025 term, guided by the motto "Unity, loyalty, honesty, integrity, exemplary conduct, and expertise," the work of Party building and organization continued to be comprehensively strengthened. The entire sector has advised on and implemented decisively, rigorously, and synchronously, with high determination, the work of reorganizing the organizational structure and streamlining personnel; many pilot models have been initially implemented with positive results.
The building and strengthening of Party organizations, especially in special areas and within various types of enterprises, has been a focus of leadership. The situation of many hamlets, villages, and communities lacking Party organizations and members has been rectified. The quality of Party committee and branch meetings has improved. A notable achievement is the comprehensive and serious implementation of Party building and rectification work in accordance with the spirit of Central Resolution 4 (11th, 12th, and 13th Congresses), linked with the implementation of Political Bureau Directive No. 05-CT/TW and regulations on the exemplary conduct of cadres and Party members.
Personnel work has closely adhered to the Party's viewpoints and principles, becoming increasingly systematic and achieving important results, aiming to build a class of cadres with strong character, innovative capabilities, and the ability to lead the province's development in the new period. The qualifications and capabilities of the cadre team have been improved; many cadres are dynamic, creative, adaptable to the trend of integration, and capable of working in an international environment.
Internal political security work has been carried out seriously, especially regarding "current political issues," contributing to identifying and preventing manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres and Party members... The above achievements have made an important contribution to building a stronger Party and political system, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and social order and safety throughout the province.
Along with focusing on improving the effectiveness of advisory work, in recent times, the Party Organization and Construction sector throughout the province has implemented many solutions to continue innovating methods, styles, and work practices. The focus has been on selecting new and challenging tasks to prioritize and direct, and promoting the dissemination of new ideas, good models, and innovative approaches to replicate them on a wider scale.
Organizing training conferences on professional skills for cadres working in Party organization and construction; regularly exchanging information and addressing difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level. In the final year of the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Organization Department and the Party Organization Departments at all levels in the province proactively advised on the content of directing and guiding the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels, including the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, according to the plan.
Under the leadership of Party committees at all levels, the Party's Organization Department and the team of cadres working in organization have been continuously nurtured, strengthened, and developed in all aspects to meet the requirements of each stage of the revolution. In all periods, emphasis has been placed on selecting cadres with firm political convictions, professional expertise, a high sense of responsibility, knowledge, honesty, impartiality, objectivity, and selflessness to work in the Party's organization.
Generations of cadres have always upheld their honor and responsibility, regardless of hardship and sacrifice, always adhering to and excellently fulfilling their duties. Through practical experience, many comrades working in organizational work have matured and contributed to Party committees and the ranks of key leadership and management cadres at all levels. Throughout history, the Organization Departments of Party committees at all levels have always demonstrated loyalty to the Party, deserving the trust of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels.
Entering a new phase, with the goal of making Nghe An a prosperous province in the country, the Party Organization and Construction sector continues to shoulder a key role in building a team of cadres who dare to think, dare to act, dare to take responsibility, have aspirations, and create a streamlined, effective, and efficient political system.
The challenges ahead are considerable, demanding increasingly high levels of intellect and leadership from the organizational team, but the 95-year tradition serves as a pillar of confidence. The greatest lesson learned by the sector after nearly a century is the unwavering commitment to the principle: all innovation must begin with the organization; all success must have its roots in the cadres. Although not at the forefront like in diplomacy or economics, those working in organization silently "maintain the Party's lifeline," determining the sustainability of the entire political system.
In this new phase, the Party Organization and Construction sector of Nghe An province is determined to continue adhering to principles, innovating methods, upholding discipline and order, and building a team of organizational workers who are both politically sound and professionally competent. Because only when organizational work is strong can the provincial Party committee be strong; only when cadres possess both heart and vision can Nghe An achieve breakthroughs.
Proud of the glorious 95-year history of the sector, in the beloved homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic Soviet homeland, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province, and the cadres and civil servants of the Party Organization and Construction sector, continue to uphold historical traditions and the tradition of unity, striving and determined to successfully complete assigned tasks. Contributing to building a prosperous and civilized Nghe An province, steadily advancing alongside the rest of the country in the new era – the era of national development.
