Drugged man stabbed drinking buddy to death, stabbed police officer and injured him
The incident happened this morning, March 5th. After stabbing his drinking buddy to death, a young man who appeared to be high on drugs stabbed a police officer, injuring him.
The murder occurred early this morning (March 5) in Ham Thang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district (Binh Thuan). According to initial information, at around 0:00 on the same day, two young men, Vo Van Giau (21 years old) and Pham Van Son (23 years old), both from Thang Hoa village, Ham Thang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, were drinking together and using drugs. Due to a conflict while drinking, Giau used a knife to stab Son to death.

Upon receiving news of the murder, Ham Thuan Bac District Police coordinated with Binh Thuan Province Police to arrive at the scene to handle the case. In a state of drug addiction after stabbing someone to death, Giau retreated into his house to barricade himself.
At this time, the riot police fired tear gas and electric guns and then used shields to storm the house to control the subject. However, the subject used a knife to stab through the gap in the shield, injuring a police lieutenant.
After a while of holding out, the subject was subdued by the riot police. The injured police lieutenant was taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency treatment. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
