October 20, opening of the 10th Session, 15th National Assembly
On October 20, the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will solemnly open at the National Assembly House, Hanoi.
On Monday, October 20, 2025, the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will solemnly open at the National Assembly House, Hanoi.
Recently, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly delegations, the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals have urgently prepared the contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Before the opening of the session, at 7:15 a.m., leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
At 8:00 a.m., the National Assembly held a preparatory meeting. At the meeting, National Assembly deputies listened to the speech of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Manh and listened to the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee member Le Quang Manh on the reception, explanation and revision of the proposed agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. After that, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At 9 a.m. the same day, the National Assembly held the Opening Session of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House. The Opening Session was broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV1) and Voice of Vietnam (VOV1)./.
