On October 20th, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly opened.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will be solemnly inaugurated at the National Assembly building in Hanoi.

Over the past period, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the National Council, the Committees of the National Assembly, the National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Office, and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals have urgently prepared the contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Prior to the opening of the Session, at 7:15 a.m., leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly delegates laid wreaths and paid respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

At 8:00 AM, the National Assembly held its preliminary session. During the session, National Assembly deputies listened to a speech by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Manh; and heard a report presented by Standing Committee member Le Quang Manh on the acceptance, explanation, and revision of the proposed agenda for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Following this, the National Assembly proceeded to discuss and vote on the agenda for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At 9:00 AM on the same day, the National Assembly held its opening session of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly in the Dien Hong Hall of the National Assembly Building. The opening session was broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV1) and Vietnam Radio (VOV1).
