Huong Tram, Duc Phuc, Vu Thao My... have changed a lot in appearance and style after winning the competition.
Huong Tram was born in 1995 in Nghe An. She participated in The Voice Vietnam at the age of 17, gaining attention from the Blind Auditions with the song "I Will Always Love You". Her high, powerful voice captivated the four coaches: Thu Minh, Tran Lap, Dam Vinh Hung, and Ho Ngoc Ha. Ultimately, Huong Tram joined Thu Minh's team.
Under the guidance of coach Thu Minh, Huong Tram maintained consistent performance throughout the competition rounds. In the final night, she performed the songs "Tren Dinh Phu Van", "Queen of the Night", and "Duong Cong" and convincingly won the title.
After the competition, Huong Tram pursued a more sensual image. Her slender face and ample bust led to accusations of plastic surgery. In 2014, Huong Tram was banned from performing for three months for wearing inappropriate clothing during a performance at a bar in Hanoi. In recent years, Huong Tram has had many hit songs such as "Ngoc" (Foolish), "Ngai Ngung" (Shy), "Cho Em Gan Anh Them Chut Nua" (Let Me Be Closer to You a Little More), and most recently "Em Gai Mua" (Rainy Girl). She also served as a judge on The Voice Kids Vietnam 2017. To date, Huong Tram is considered the most successful winner of The Voice Vietnam.
Vu Thao My participated in The Voice Vietnam 2013 when she was not yet 17 years old. She has a bright appearance and an emotional voice. However, Thao My's victory was not convincing. She was not as highly regarded as Vu Cat Tuong and Hoang Ton in the final. Thao My's win was thanks to the large fan base of her coach, Dam Vinh Hung.
After the competition, Thảo My didn't have many outstanding musical releases. Recently, she has undergone a transformation with a more sensual image.
Duc Phuc, born in 1996, was the winner of the third season of The Voice Vietnam in 2015. He was a contestant on coach My Tam's team. During the competition, his appearance became a topic of much discussion.
In 2017, Duc Phuc changed his appearance thanks to cosmetic surgery. He revealed that he had his chin reshaped, his nose lifted and narrowed, and his lips reduced. In his autobiography released in March, Duc Phuc revealed that he faced many disadvantages because of his unattractive appearance and lack of public acceptance. After his transformation, Duc Phuc started getting more shows, and his work schedule became busier. Duc Phuc shared that before being accepted by the public, he couldn't count how many times he secretly cried.
Ali Hoang Duong was a standout contestant on The Voice Vietnam 2017 thanks to his striking appearance. The contestant from Thu Minh's team also won convincingly thanks to his ability to transform his style, command the stage, and his powerful voice. The 1996-born singer shared that after the competition, he received many invitations to perform, earning a stable income that's enough to live on. The singer became the main breadwinner for his family after his father passed away last year.
Ali Hoang Duong released the music video "Theo Anh" (Follow Me) in September 2017, but it didn't make a significant impact. The winner of The Voice Vietnam 2017 admitted that he faced many difficulties in building his name and finding his direction.
