On September 7, the first son of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton attended his first day of school at a private school in the suburbs of London, CNN reported.
Dressed in a navy blue school uniform, Prince George held his father's hand as he arrived at Thomas's Battersea. His mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, suffered from severe morning sickness during her third pregnancy and was unable to take her son to school.
Prince William and his wife have chosen to send their four-year-old son to the school that the Good School Guide has rated as "the place where urban parents can afford to buy their children the best education." The tuition fee at Thomas's Battersea is £17,604 ($23,000).
Prince George will join the Freshers' Class. At the school, he will learn ballet, art, drama, French, music and physical education.
The little prince's first day of school also opened a new page in Prince William's family life when the whole family moved from their residence in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, southeast England to live at Kensington Palace in London.
