(Baonghean.vn) - During the intensified market inspection and control campaign for the Mid-Autumn Festival, implemented by the Market Management Department throughout the province from August 16th to September 20th, the Market Management force conducted 118 inspections, handling 85 violations and collecting fines totaling over 185 million VND.
Specifically, during more than a month of intensified market inspections for the Mid-Autumn Festival, the provincial market management force handled 43 cases of violent toys and prohibited goods (mainly plastic guns and swords) and 12 cases of smuggled children's toys of unknown origin.
The confiscated and destroyed smuggled goods included: 518 sets of doll, cooking, and doctor toys, and 2,038 items of superhero, dinosaur, car, and trading card toys…

In addition, the Market Management Force also handled 30 cases of violations related to food hygiene and safety. The violating goods mainly included items such as yogurt, candy, cakes, soft drinks, flour, etc.

The main violations include: food production facilities operating without the required food safety and hygiene certificates; sales and processing staff lacking health certificates or food safety and hygiene training certificates; using expired raw materials; goods not being stored properly; violations regarding product labeling, etc.
