Nghe An: 10 months, tourism service revenue increased by 15%
(Baonghean.vn) - Thanks to the diversity and innovation of tourism products, in the past 10 months, the number of tourists to Nghe An has increased rapidly and more sustainably.
In the first 10 months of the year, the total number of tourists is estimated at 5,581 thousand, up 4% over the same period in 2017. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 6,849 billion VND; of which tourism service revenue is estimated at 3,425 billion VND, up 15% over the same period in 2017.
In particular, based on monthly economic data, the growth in the tourism sector is more steady and sustainable.

Many hotels have invested in upgrading facilities, equipment, and improving service quality to attract customers; tourism activities have remained stable and have good growth momentum. The number of customers has increased compared to the same period, the set target has been achieved and exceeded; especially the growth is evenly distributed throughout the months, thus limiting seasonality.
In 2018, Nghe An tourism industry aims to welcome more than 4.2 million visitors with accommodation, an increase of 10% compared to 2017, of which the number of international visitors is 126,400.
