Nghe An: 3 fishermen rescued in time after fishing boat sinks at sea.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Dien Thanh Border Guard Station reached the location of the sunken ship and safely rescued the three fishermen in distress, bringing them aboard a speedboat.
At 8:40 AM on November 13, 2025, the Operations Duty Officer of the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province received information from Dien Thanh Border Guard Station: at approximately 4:00 AM the same day, the fishing vessel NA-0205-TS, captained and owned by Mr. Dau Tran Binh (born in 1978, residing in Dien Chau commune, Nghe An province), with 2 crew members on board, sank while fishing at coordinates 18°58'50"N - 105°46'50"E (about 8 nautical miles from the coast). The initial cause was determined to be a hole in the hull.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province directed coastal units to notify ships operating near the distressed vessel to coordinate search and rescue efforts; at the same time, it assigned Dien Thanh Border Guard Station to deploy forces and equipment to quickly reach the scene.

The Dien Thanh Border Guard Station dispatched canoes and a force of officers and soldiers, directly commanded by the Deputy Station Chief, to the area where the incident occurred.

At approximately 8:30 AM on the same day, the rescue team from Dien Thanh Border Guard Station reached the location of the sunken vessel, safely brought the three fishermen onto a speedboat, provided initial medical care, and transported them back to shore.
Currently, the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the Dien Thanh Border Guard Station.
