Nghe An: 449 cases of passenger cars were fined
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the statistics of the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Police), from January 1 to 31, 2023, the Traffic Police force organized 2,250 patrols and inspections, with 10,504 officers participating. Accordingly, 3,649 violations were recorded, including 449 passenger vehicles.
Specifically, the violations: Speeding violations 45 cases;alcohol concentration2 cases; stopping, picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations 107 cases; carrying more passengers than the number of people 27 cases; other violations 268 cases (including carrying goods in the passenger compartment, staff not wearing name tags, running on the wrong route, schedule...).

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Police), with the goal of reducing traffic accidents in general, accidents involving passenger cars in particular, along with requiring bus operators to sign a commitment and strictly comply with the provisions of the law, the force will increase patrols and strictly handle violations.
Especially now, after Tet, when people return to work, go to festivals, go sightseeing, etc., the demand for traveling by passenger vans increases. Therefore, the Department has directed the Teams and Stations, along with coordinating with local police to continue to inspect and strictly handle violations related to passenger vans such as carrying more people than the prescribed number, speeding violations, etc.
