Nghe An: 46 early polling stations achieved 100% voter turnout.
According to a report from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Internal Affairs, as of 3 PM on March 13th, the average voter turnout in 55 polling stations across 12 border and remote communes reached 94%. Of these, 46 polling stations achieved a 100% voter turnout.
On the morning of March 13th, all 55 polling stations in 12 mountainous and border communes of the province held early voting, two days ahead of the election day for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The early voting areas are located in 12 communes, including: Huoi Tu commune (13 areas); Na Ngoi (9 areas); Muong Tip (7 areas); Chau Khe (5 areas); Tri Le (4 areas); Bac Ly (3 areas); My Ly (3 areas); Mon Son (3 areas); Tam Thai (3 areas); Keng Du (2 areas); Muong Quang (2 areas) and Huu Khuong (1 area).
These are areas with unique geographical conditions, scattered populations, difficult transportation, and some places are isolated.

According to the report on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term at early polling stations as of 3 PM on March 13, 2026, by the Nghe An Provincial Election Committee: the voter turnout rate in 55 polling stations in 12 border and remote communes averaged 94%; of which 46 polling stations achieved a 100% voter turnout rate.

All members of the Election Committee at the 55 early voting polling stations were required to convene before 7:00 AM at the polling location for a final check of the facilities and the list of invited participants for the opening ceremony, in accordance with regulations.
Voters in all polling areas participated in the election with joy and enthusiasm, exercising their rights and duties as citizens at their polling stations to choose individuals with political qualities and capabilities who are worthy of representing the aspirations of the people to be elected to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

To date, security and order in the area have been ensured, with no incidents or hotspots related to the election process. The material and technical conditions for election day have been fully and meticulously prepared in accordance with regulations at all polling stations.
The report also highlighted several difficulties in organizing the election, particularly unstable telephone signals in some areas, making it difficult to exchange information in both directions for compiling election results; and difficult road conditions in some areas, which significantly affected the progress of the election as well as the reporting schedule during the election period.
