(Baonghean.vn) - In the middle of the night, the hospital continuously received 8 patients suffering from diarrhea and vomiting after attending a wedding reception.
On April 16th, Dr. Vo Hoai Nam, Head of the Intensive Care Unit at Que Phong District General Hospital, stated that the unit is currently treating eight patients suffering from food poisoning.
Earlier, from around 9 PM last night to 3 AM this morning, April 16th, the hospital continuously admitted 8 patients with symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and headaches…

Upon admission, doctors diagnosed these patients with food poisoning and quickly administered intravenous fluids to detoxify and rehydrate them. Prior to this, according to information from the patients' families, on the afternoon of April 15th, this group attended a wedding feast in the village. After returning home, many showed symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.
Eight patients all reside in Muong Ngoc commune (Que Phong district). Their health is now gradually stabilizing.
