The conference evaluated the results of task implementation, summarized the emulation movement, people's inspection work in 2016 and deployed tasks in 2017.

In 2016, Nghe An Social Insurance has achieved many important achievements in the process of implementing social security policies for the people. The whole sector has achieved and exceeded the targets assigned by Vietnam Social Insurance, the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; Rapidly increasing the coverage of social insurance and health insurance, especially the number of people participating in health insurance increased sharply (with 81.48% of the population participating in health insurance, exceeding the target assigned by the Prime Minister of 81%); Social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance revenue reached more than 4,700 billion VND; Social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance debt was controlled lower than in 2016.

More and more people are registering for voluntary health insurance to enjoy benefits in medical examination and treatment.

The policies for social insurance participants are implemented promptly and in accordance with regulations by Nghe An Social Insurance with simple and convenient administrative procedures; Pensions and monthly social insurance benefits are paid in full, safely and conveniently to beneficiaries; The provincial Social Insurance has developed and effectively implemented a cost control plan for health insurance examination and treatment...
