Nghe An: 95% of workers and laborers return to work after Tet
According to the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, the rate of workers returning to work after the holiday is high, and labor relations are stable. Many businesses organize to welcome workers with many exciting activities such as New Year meetings, lucky money, gift giving, etc.
Stable labor relations after Tet
By the end of the morning of February 5, at Luxshare - ICT Nghe An Company Limited - the enterprise with the largest number of workers in the province at the moment, almost all workers have returned to work with a joyful and excited atmosphere. This is also the day this enterprise launched its recruitment program at the beginning of the year with many job positions. Before Tet, the Company raised the basic salary and gave Tet bonuses to employees. Currently, the average income of this enterprise is about 8 million VND/month, many workers have an income of 12 - 15 million VND/month.

According to the synthesis from the Southeast Economic Zone, at the enterprises and industrial parks under its management, the average rate of workers returning to work is 98%, the lowest rate recorded is 95%. Among them, many enterprises have 100% of workers returning to work such as Mavin Company, Hoa Sen Nghe An, VSIP Nghe An... To welcome workers back, most enterprises organize New Year's lucky money activities from 50,000 VND to 500,000 VND.
In Dien Chau district - one of the localities with many large enterprises, all companies in the area have returned to work since the beginning of the week. The district Labor Federation has come to grasp the situation and congratulated a number of units with a large number of workers and laborers on the New Year. It is recorded that at the companies, about 97% of workers have returned to work, labor relations are stable. Most enterprises gave lucky money to encourage workers on the first day of production.
Similarly, in the districts of Quynh Luu, Thanh Chuong, Nghia Dan, etc., some businesses chose to reopen on the 8th day of Tet. The rate of workers returning to work was higher than in previous years, labor relations were stable, and trade unions at all levels practically welcomed workers back with practical gifts.
Care and attention before and after Tet
In a context of increasingly scarce labor, high labor return rates and stable labor relations show that businesses have done a good job of attracting and retaining workers.

During the recent Lunar New Year, with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Thanks to the Party", Nghe An Trade Unions at all levels (including the General Confederation of Labor; Provincial Labor Confederation; district, city, and town trade unions; industry trade unions and grassroots trade unions) spent nearly 40 billion VND on Tet care, for more than 40,000 union members, workers, and laborers to enjoy.
The Provincial Federation of Labor directly directed the organization of 2 programs "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party” 2025 at WHA Industrial Park and Provincial Labor Culture House with the participation of nearly 2,500 workers and laborers.

At WHA Industrial Park, the program presented 1,000 gifts to 1,000 workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances (each gift worth 800,000 VND); at the Provincial Labor Culture House, 95 exemplary workers and laborers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam were honored on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3); Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation were awarded to 95 exemplary workers and laborers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" via the e-commerce platform organized by the General Confederation of Labor has helped 3,500 union members and workers in difficult circumstances and with excellent achievements in labor and production receive practical gifts.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, 95% of grassroots trade unions under the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union organized the "Tet Sum Vay" program with many diverse and attractive activities such as rewards, gift giving, parties, lucky draws, etc. The total amount of money spent by the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, and grassroots trade unions to take care of union members and workers was 14.5 billion VND. Of which, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union spent 1.8 billion VND for workers in difficult circumstances.

After the long Tet holiday, businesses have an increasing need to recruit workers and expand their business. Currently, although more than 40,000 jobs are vacant, many Nghe An workers are not interested in the basic salary in their hometown. In addition to improving the salary and benefits policy for workers in the area to be equivalent to the general labor market of the whole country, it is necessary to continue investing and focusing on building cultural institutions, social housing, kindergartens for workers' children... Only then can we attract workers far from home to return to work in their hometown.
