Nghe An: An 8kg fish suspected to be a golden snapper has been caught.

(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing on the Cam River, Mr. Dau Van Su from Block 8, Nghi Tan Ward (Cua Lo Town) caught a fish weighing 8kg, suspected to be a golden snapper.

On the morning of March 3rd, a large crowd of locals and traders gathered at the Cam River wharf to admire the yellow fish that is rumored to be very valuable.

The owner of the fish is Mr. Dau Van Su, residing in Block 8, Nghi Tan Ward (Cua Lo Town). Mr. Su said that his family caught the fish this morning on the Cam River. When they caught it, they noticed that the fish's entire body was a shimmering golden color, suspecting it to be a rare golden snapper, so he carefully preserved it.

After catching the fish, he didn't bring them home but left them on the boat out on the river to ensure they stayed alive longer.

Upon hearing that Mr. Su had caught a rare fish, many people came to see it. Numerous traders from within and outside the province offered hundreds of millions of dong to own the fish, but Mr. Su refused to sell it.

According to many experienced people, the fish Mr. Sử caught could be a golden snapper.
