Nghe An authorities arrested 19 individuals for gambling through buffalo fighting.
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 23, the Anh Son District Police announced that they had discovered and arrested 19 individuals involved in organizing gambling in the form of buffalo fighting betting. The case is currently under investigation and being expanded.
Two days earlier, the special task force of the district police ambushed a buffalo fighting den in Cao Son commune, Anh Son district, and discovered these people engrossed in gambling through betting.

Initial investigations have identified four ringleaders: Dinh Viet Nhan (born 1968), residing in Hamlet 7, Hoa Son Commune, Anh Son District; Hoang Huu Hai (born 1959), residing in Hamlet 3, Nghia Hanh Commune, Tan Ky District; Nguyen Van Mau (born 1967), residing in Hamlet 3, My Son Commune, Do Luong District; and Trinh Van Tuan (born 1963), residing in Tay Ho Ward, Nam Dan Town.

The seized items included 20,000,000 VND in cash, 2 fighting buffaloes, 3 cars, 10 motorbikes, and 21 mobile phones.
Currently, the Anh Son District Police are continuing to investigate, expand the case, and prosecute related individuals in accordance with the law.
