Nghe An: Emergency arrest of 4 human traffickers

(Baonghean.vn) - Ky Son District Police have just successfully solved 2 human trafficking cases, arresting 4 subjects.

On September 8, Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau, Chief of Ky Son District Police, said that the unit had just successfully solved two cases, arresting four subjects involved in child trafficking and human trafficking.

The two suspects arrested for child trafficking are siblings Cut Van Thon and Cut Thi San, who were arrested by Ky Son District Police on September 7.

Previously, on September 4, Ky Son District Police received a complaint from Moong Thi Thu (born 2000), residing in Keo Con village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, accusing Cut Thi San (born 1986) and Cut Van Thon (born 1982), both residing in Na Luong 1 village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, of defrauding and selling Thu to China.

After receiving the report, the leaders of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ky Son District Police directed the Investigation Team of Ky Son District Police to investigate. Through the verification and investigation process, the subjects confessed: In 2014, the two subjects colluded with each other to trick Moong Thi Thu (born 2000) and Luong Thi Phien (born 1989), both residing in Keo Con village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, into selling them to China for 200,000,000 VND. After being sold to be the wife of a Chinese man, Moong Thi Thu was lucky to escape and return to file a complaint.

The second case is related to the crime of human trafficking. Accordingly, on September 4, Ky Son District Police received a complaint from Ms. Luong Thi Loi, born in 1996, residing in Keo Con village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, accusing the subjects Pit Van May (born in 1989), residing in Don Boong village, Na Loi commune, Ky Son district, and Luong Van Duong, born in 1995, residing in Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, of tricking and selling Ms. Loi to China for 70,000 yuan (Chinese currency).

Immediately after receiving the complaint, the Investigation Team of Ky Son District Police conducted an investigation and arrested two subjects, Pit Van May and Luong Van Duong. At the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police, the two subjects confessed to their crimes.

In 2013, two subjects Pit Van May and Luong Van Duong tricked Ms. Luong Thi Loi into selling her to China for 60,000,000 VND.Luong Thi Loi was also sold to a Chinese man as a wife and now luckily escaped and returned.

Currently, Ky Son District Police are completing procedures for the subjects to proceed with the next steps according to the provisions of law.
