Nghe An: Bank deputy manager arrested for stabbing father to death

On the morning of February 11, 2019, Nghi Loc District Police were examining the crime scene at the house of suspect Truong Manh Tuan (born 1987) in Xuan Son hamlet, Nghi Thach commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An for murder.

Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on February 10, people in Xuan Son hamlet, Nghi Thach commune, Nghi Loc district heard a cry for help coming from the family of Mr. Truong Canh H (born in 1959) and Mrs. Mai Thi H (born in 1963), Tuan's parents.
When they ran over, they saw Tuan holding a knife and threatening the people around him. Inside the house, Mr. H. had died from multiple stab wounds. Mrs. H. was also seriously injured. The suspect’s younger sister, who was pregnant and visiting her parents during Tet, was also stabbed multiple times and had a finger severed.
It is known that Tuan had a wife and a 3-year-old son. On the night of the incident, seeing her husband acting unusually, his wife took her child and ran away.
According to neighbors near the house, "Tuan has always been a sociable person, filial to his parents and very loving to his wife and children. But at around 10:30 p.m. on February 10, when he heard screams, neighbors ran out to see what was happening. When they ran out, they saw Tuan holding a knife in the house. It was unbelievable that he would kill his own father."

Truong Manh Tuan is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H.
It is known that Tuan is the Deputy Head of Sales at a Vietinbank branch. That night, Tuan had a party with friends and is suspected of using stimulants.
Tuan returned home in a state of not being able to control himself and caused the heartbreaking incident above. After killing his family, Tuan took a knife and drove away with the intention of committing suicide. When arriving at the Nam Cam area, the car he was driving crashed into an electric pole.
At 4:00 a.m. on February 11, Nghi Loc District Police successfully controlled the subject and escorted him to the investigation agency for further investigation.
