Nghe An elects 2 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee

On the morning of November 11th, at the 11th session of the 17th term of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, two additional Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee were elected.

Based on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Thai Thanh Quy, the Provincial People's Council elected the following comrades as additional Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Nam Dan District Party Committee.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu, born in 1967, hails from Hung Linh commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering and has worked for many years in the province's agricultural sector. He previously served as the Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee before becoming the Director of the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Comrade Bui Dinh Long, born in 1966, hails from Dien Hoa commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. He holds a PhD and is a specialist physician (level II). He has many years of experience in the healthcare sector before assuming the position of Secretary of the Nam Dan District Party Committee.

Following the vote count, the Nghe An Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution confirming the results of the by-election for the Vice Chairmen of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term, appointing comrades Hoang Nghia Hieu and Bui Dinh Long.

Previously, the Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Dinh Viet Hong from his position as Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term, allowing him to retire according to State regulations.
