Nghe An commits to removing obstacles for businesses.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 11th, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with the Hanoi Beer, Wine and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation and the Hanoi Beer - Nghe An Joint Stock Company. Attending the meeting were: Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Mr. Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Recently, due to unpredictable weather patterns, rising raw material prices, and fierce competition among beer brands in the market, the production, business, employment, and income of employees at Hanoi Beer - Nghe An Joint Stock Company have been significantly affected. However, with concerted efforts, the company has overcome difficulties and achieved its production, business, and sales targets. Employee incomes have been ensured, and the company has fulfilled its tax obligations to the state.

In 2018, Hanoi Beer - Nghe An Joint Stock Company achieved a total production of 28.2 million liters, reaching 64% of the plan; revenue reached 309 billion VND; and tax contributions to the state budget amounted to 325 billion VND.
In 2019, the production and consumption plan aimed to reach 52.12 million liters of beer and contribute 500 billion VND to the state budget.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Beer, Wine and Beverage Corporation, reported on the company's situation and proposed several solutions for developing Hanoi Beer in Nghe An. Currently, Hanoi Beer's market share in Nghe An is approximately 20%. To increase market share in Nghe An, in addition to solutions related to production, equipment management, and product quality improvement, the company focuses on strengthening its sales team for market development. Currently, the factory in Nam Cam Industrial Park supplying products to the province is operating stably; the company is committed to continuously improving product quality, as well as offering preferential mechanisms for consumers.

Speaking at the meeting, the provincial leaders agreed with the businesses' proposals, affirming that they would direct relevant departments to pay attention to resolving difficulties and obstacles to help businesses develop production. At the same time, they would support commercial and promotional activities in the spirit of healthy competition, ensuring consumer rights.
On this occasion, Hanoi Beer, Wine and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation donated 100 million VND; Hanoi Beer - Nghe An Joint Stock Company donated 15 million VND to the Tet for the Poor Fund for the Year of the Pig 2019.
