The sunflower fields in Nghia Lam commune (Nghe An province) are currently in their most beautiful blooming season, attracting numerous tourists from Hanoi and neighboring provinces to take photos for free.
In mid-December, the sunflower fields in Nghia Lam commune, Nghe An province, become a popular destination attracting many locals and tourists. With its vast area and vibrant yellow color, it offers a refreshing rural atmosphere and impressive photo opportunities.

Free entry points to Nghia Lam
Located approximately 250 km from Hanoi, this sunflower field is managed by a local dairy company. Currently, the garden is open to visitors free of charge, with no entrance fee or parking fee. This year, the flowers are planted in field C10, opposite the area between the two dairy farms, making it easy for visitors to find and access.
To optimize the visitor experience, the management has arranged more than 10 dedicated check-in points throughout the field, creating diverse photo opportunities without causing congestion.
Experience of an overnight journey to photograph the sunrise.
Many tourists from Hanoi have opted for overnight trips to catch the first rays of sunlight on the flower fields. Ms. Ho Thien Nga, a tourist who recently experienced the area, shared that her group hired a private car and departed at midnight to arrive in Nghe An early in the morning.

Arriving early not only helps avoid crowds but also allows visitors to enjoy the fresh, misty atmosphere reminiscent of the highlands. Based on practical experience, the ideal time is between 8:00 and 10:00 AM because the sun is gentle, the weather is cool, and the flowers appear their best in photos.
Flowering time and practical notes
The sunflower season in Nghia Lam is expected to last from mid-December until after the New Year. This is a favorable time for tourists to plan visits during short holidays.


To capture stunning photos, visitors should choose bright-colored outfits such as white, red, or pink to contrast with the yellow of the flowers and the blue of the sky. Additionally, the field has small pathways interspersed between the flowerbeds, allowing people to move around easily without damaging the flowers or affecting the overall landscape.

Visitors should remember to maintain general cleanliness and absolutely refrain from picking flowers or breaking branches to preserve the beauty of the field for future visitors.
