Nghe An: Updating knowledge of people's foreign affairs for officials and civil servants
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 14, the Department of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize training courses on people's diplomacy for cadres and civil servants of agencies and units in the province.

At the training class on international politics and Vietnam's foreign policy to serve international integration, students listened to Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hong - Deputy Director, Department of Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, convey the topics: Foreign policy of the Party and State of Vietnam; Vietnam's foreign policy with major partners (major countries, neighboring countries, countries in the region, ASEAN and other international and regional organizations) and the topic of international integration.
For students of the training course on citizen protection and consular work for foreigners in Nghe An, they listened to Mr. Vu Le Ha, chief specialist of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deliver lectures on the topics: Citizen protection work; Consular work.

The training courses aim to provide cadres and civil servants with necessary knowledge and information, directly and practically serving the implementation of foreign affairs work of people's organizations; updating the regional and world situation; foreign affairs and people's diplomacy policies and guidelines of our Party and State in the current period.
The students also provided knowledge about international economic integration and the tasks facing Vietnamese unions and people's organizations in the integration process, as well as the focus of people's foreign affairs in the coming time.
Thereby, the capacity of cadres and civil servants is enhanced, awareness is raised, and the participation of all levels, sectors, unions, social organizations, and localities is mobilized in effectively implementing people-to-people diplomacy in the new period.
The training courses were held over 2 days (September 14-15), with the participation of nearly 250 trainees who are officials and civil servants from departments, branches, districts, cities and towns in the province./.
