Nghe An approves investment policy for 2 projects with 3,541 workers' houses

Specifically, the worker accommodation area of ​​the Luxshare ICT Nghe An 1 Factory project in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has an area of ​​0.33 hectares, floor area of ​​29,500 m², 253 apartments for 1,132 workers; the Workers' Accommodation project of Luxshare ICT Nghe An 2 Factory project in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has an area of ​​4.43 hectares, floor area of ​​165,670 m²and 3,288 apartments for 12,474 workers.

The representative of the Planning Management Department, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone said: The two above-mentioned worker accommodation projects will start construction in 2025 and are expected to be completed in 2026. Currently, the worker accommodation area of ​​Luxshare ICT Nghe An 2 Factory has been approved for planning by the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone on February 21, 2025. Meanwhile, the worker accommodation area of ​​Luxshare ICT Nghe An 1 Factory is being submitted and waiting for planning approval for implementation.

It is known that the above housing projects for workers are one of the items in the infrastructure investment project of Luxshare ICT Group in Hung Nguyen district, in which Luxshare Nghe An 1 has a total investment of 3,549.5 billion VND and Luxshare Nghe An 2 has a total investment of 8,652.5 billion VND.

Thus, up to now, Nghe An has 5 worker housing areas in industrial parks, including the Dormitory Area of ​​Luxshare - ICT Factory Project (Nghe An) which has been completed to accommodate about 8,220 workers, currently housing nearly 2,000 workers; Dormitory Area of ​​Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) to accommodate about 1,200 workers; Dormitory Area of ​​JuTeng Electronic Product and Auto Parts Factory Project in Hoang Mai I Industrial Park is currently under construction, accommodating about 20,000 workers.

Previously, Nghe An approved the investment policy for 4 social housing projects for workers in industrial parks in the Southeast Economic Zone, with a total of about 8,200 units. Of which, nearly 7,300 units belong to 2 projects of MK Central Solar Power Joint Stock Company and BMC International Trading Joint Stock Company in Nghi Long and Nghi Thuan communes (Nghi Loc); 525 apartments and 23 low-rise townhouses for workers and laborers in the industrial park of Kim Thi Real Estate Joint Stock Company in Nghi Xa commune (Nghi Loc) and nearly 300 units belong to the project of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company in Nghi Tien (Nghi Loc).

Implementing the Government's Project goal of building 1 million social housing apartments by 2030, Nghe An strives to build about 28,500 social housing apartments for over 50,000 workers in the province.
