Nghe An: Fierce fire breaks out at a motorbike repair shop.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 25th, a fire broke out at a motorbike repair shop on Nguyen Du Street, Vinh City, destroying much of the property inside.

At around 8:30 PM on December 25th, several residents living near Thanh Danh motorbike repair shop located at 37 Nguyen Du Street (Vinh City) were surprised to see thick smoke and flames billowing out.

Because the owner of the motorcycle repair shop had locked the door and gone home, many people had to break down the door to put out the fire while simultaneously notifying the fire department. The area where the fire occurred was located more than 20 meters from the Trung Do gas station.

Upon receiving the report, Fire Prevention and Control Police Stations No. 1 and No. 4 of Nghe An Provincial Police quickly dispatched two fire trucks along with dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

At the same time, more than 10 households living in the Electricity Company's apartment complex behind the motorbike repair shop quickly evacuated people and moved their belongings outside.

Because the fire was located near National Highway 1, traffic police and riot police were deployed in increased numbers to ensure traffic safety.

The fire was finally brought under control around 9 PM. Although there were no casualties, dozens of customers' motorbikes and much of the property inside the motorbike repair shop were completely destroyed.

The initial cause of the fire has been determined to be an electrical short circuit.
