(Baonghean.vn) - According to the report of the Department of Finance, the budget expenditure in the first 4 months of 2020 is estimated at 9,644 billion VND, reaching 35.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Of which, the expenditure for prevention and control of African swine fever is quite large.

Of which, development investment expenditure was 3,950 billion VND, reaching 59.9% of the estimate, regular expenditure was 5,509 billion VND, reaching 27.4% of the estimate.

Also according to the report, from the beginning of the year, the Finance sector has coordinated with departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee on funding for visiting and wishing a happy new year to policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, and giving gifts to outstanding elderly people; supporting funds for poor households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year; allocating support for prices of public irrigation services and products, and releasing key projects worth 16.5 billion VND; funding for Covid-19 prevention and control of 81.1 billion VND; funding for African swine fever prevention and control of 92.5 billion VND; funding for building Cua Hoi bridge across Lam river of 60 billion VND;...

According to the assessment of Nghe An Department of Finance, the estimated budget collection in the first 4 months of 2020 basically met the progress of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. However, since April 2020, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the Government has directed the implementation of social isolation, affecting the production and business of enterprises and people and will certainly affect the budget collection in the following quarters.

Budget revenue in the first four months of the year is estimated at VND3,113 billion, reaching 28.6% of the estimate and equal to 94.8% of the same period in 2019; Land use fee revenue reached VND1,534 billion./.
